A bilingual landing page and “Our Story” page redesign to enhance user engagement and support Indigenous early childhood education.
Challenge
The LOVIT Way is a national hub for Indigenous early childhood education, but its landing pages lacked cohesion with the login-protected community space. With the launch of PEP Version 2, the site needed a clearer, user-centered introduction to its purpose and resources.
Task
The objective was to redesign the landing and “Our Story” pages to:
- Provide a seamless and engaging user experience that aligns with the platform’s community-focused mission.
- Highlight the launch of PEP Version 2, emphasizing its significance for Indigenous early childhood education programs.
- Ensure the website effectively communicates its role as a national resource hub for Indigenous communities.
Action
- Real-Time Design and Development: Utilized Wix’s development mode to design and build the pages in real time, allowing for immediate iteration and refinement.
- Content Optimization: Collaborated with stakeholders to distill extensive content into clear, concise messaging that aligns with The LOVIT Way’s mission and effectively communicates the importance of PEP Version 2.
- Visual Enhancement: Refined logos and icons using Illustrator to ensure brand consistency and visual appeal.
- Bilingual Implementation & Deployment: Coordinated simultaneous English and French launches, managing stakeholder feedback loops to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and smooth rollout across both languages.
Result
- Stronger engagement with a clearer pathway for users to access resources.
- Successful PEP Version 2 rollout, reinforcing The LOVIT Way as a national leader.
- Improved navigation and branding, aligning the site with its mission.
